First Week in Boston

So I flew up on Wednesday of last week, and have been running around like a crazy person trying to get things settled ever since. Classes just started today, and my opera audition is tomorrow, so I've got awhile before things really feel settled, I guess.

Last night, Katie and I went to the Bed, Bath, & Beyond, because somehow I forgot to bring pillows up here. And after that, we went to Megan's apt for a little welcome back party they were having. It was fun, b/c I got to meet alot of BU singers - past and present. But on the way, we stopped at Trader Joe's to buy some wine, and saw these three precious nuns getting really excited about the food they were buying. And it made me think. Being a nun isn't such a bad idea, you know? You can eat all you want, and not have to worry about getting so fat that no one wants to have sex with you. Just a thought.

Anyway, I'm off to run a couple of errands, but thought I'd update, since it's been such a long time.

Holla back from the convent.
